Yesterday we trekked down to Norfolk to Gt Witchingham. Not too - TopicsExpress

Yesterday we trekked down to Norfolk to Gt Witchingham. Not too early a start but we left plenty of time for potential holiday traffic- there didnt seem to be any! Tesco Teddy managed to disgrace himself in the dressage warm up, but did manage more containment in the test! His SJ was awesome and required little effort on his part. XC he was very rude, and ended up eliminated for Accumulative refusals aroud the course, but he did finish, some bits were awesome, some bits were clearly not! He is still on the Tesco list but we have an action plan and it may need to involve Action Man! Fortunately we also took the little superstar Supercob. The Diamond Queen (Scallywag). She did an accurate and very pleasing test, so pleasing in fact we were pleasantly impressed with her mark. She always trys so hard and we are so often disappointed with her mark, she is little and it takes a long time to get around the arena, shes not a great big flashy mover but she does nothing wrong and yesterday she was rewarded handsomely for it. 31.4 in the Intermediate and =4th after dressage. A silly rail down at the first fence in the SJ and then the most awesome xc round. It was only her 2nd intermediate competition and the water complex is complex at Gt Witchingham, she just popped through, a few strides of trot and out, shes just incredible. There were plenty of problems throughout the Competiton but this little horse just got on with it and both horse and rider came home smiling like Cheshire cats. And to top it off they finished 5th and on the journey home Horse and Hound rang for an interview. Star Struck with Supercob, and the journey home didnt seem so long either.
