Yesterday when Shana and I were sitting in her hospital room, the respiratory therapist came into Shana her berthing treatment. After the mask had been placed over Shanas mouth and nose the RT quietly turned to me and said, I was there in the cath lab a week ago Friday and Ill remember that for the rest of my life! You see when I brought my Shana to the hospital that day I didnt know she had massive, multiple blood clots or pulmonary embolisms in both lungs. They had to perform an emergency procedure in the cath lab and while they were inserting catheters to send life saving medicine to her lungs her little heart stopped 5 times. So back to the conversation I said, so do you usually work in the cath lab? She said,No, I am one of the 20 people that night who came when they heard Rapid Response over the intercom What do you say to that but thank you and thank God and I did.
