Yesterday while jogging in the Woodbridge area, I came across a Fawn that was acting weird. According to the resident of the white residence, the Fawn had been acting this way for several hours (in between brief rest periods). Since animal control was closed, the police were called and an officer came out to talk with the resident of the white home. It was decided to leave the fawn alone and if the fawn was still there in at 8:00am, animal control would notified. I rode by the area at 8:00am this morning and the fawn is no longer there. Apparently, the fawn went back into the nearby woods (150 acres) either by itself or accompanied by other deer who regularly frequent the area at night. Does anyone have an opinion/theory as to why the fawn was acting so erratic?
