Yesterday, while my dad and I were out to dinner, there was a gentleman with his wife enjoying a meal. He had an army hat hanging discreetly on the back of his chair. As we were leaving, I went up to their table and said, Excuse me. I just want to thank you for your service and dedication to our country. I shook his hand and he said, Thank you, and smiled. It was very low-key, but pleasant. I know its not much and I will never understand the sacrifices that these brave men and women have made, but I think it is the least I can do...thank them, see them and let them know how much they matter to me and the freedoms I enjoy. I hope you will take some time today to thank a vet who returned, to say a prayer for those who didnt and to feel gratitude for all the blessings we have in the US. Here is a great video by Mitch Rossell, called A Soldiers Memoir. Enjoy it and your Memorial Day. Namaste. https://youtube/watch?v=RLwZs_LwXfM
