Yesterdays episode of それマジ!?NIPPON aired on Fuji TV, and I forgot to tell everybody because I was out at Sunset Live without internet all day. Oops! Anyway I reported on a popular attraction for foreign visitors to Japan, that I actually think you guys might be interested in learning about!??!??!?! Buddha Bellies Cooking School Tokyo offers one-day cooking lessons, in English to foreigners interested in learning how to cook real authentic Japanese meals, from decoration sushi, to bento boxes, to okonomiyaki. They also accommodate vegetarians with a special vegan sushi course as well. It is rated as a top recommended activity on Trip Advisor, and Ayuko-sensei, the teacher, is a certified sushi instructor with a love and passion for teaching Japanese food culture to the world. The classes are conducted in small numbers, between 6-8 people, and are well organised and easy to follow. If youre travelling to Japan for a short period of time, and want to get involved in some real, hands-on experiences, this is something I would definitely recommend! I think if my parents ever come back to visit me in Japan, this is something Id want to do with them. More Info: buddhabelliestokyo.jimdo/ 昨日、フジテレビの「それマジ！？ニッポン！」で紹介した、外国人向けの料理教室 Buddha Bellies Cooking School を紹介します。実は、この体験は、海外の観光サイトで大好評のため、世界各地からの観光客が東京にくる時にこの料理教室に参加しているという。私がリポートした時に、オーストラリア、フランス、そしてスウェーデンからの観光客と一緒に、お味噌汁や、だし巻きたまごなどの日本料理を学びました。 デコレーション寿司や、日本のお弁当や、お好み焼きなどの様々な日本の食文化を紹介する教室をやっているし、海外向けのベジタリアン寿司なども、教えているそうです。 先生は英語で教えてくれますので、外国の方にとってとても分かりやすいです。残念ながら参加者は外国の方に限られているんですが、もし、周りに興味ありそうな方がいらっしゃったら、ぜひ、この体験を教えてください。 buddhabelliestokyo.jimdo/
