Yesterdays interview on BBC Radio Cornwall went like a dream. Tiffany is a terrific interviewer because she doesntprepare a list of questions. Instead, while the music is playing, we have a quick discussion about what shed like to know, and what Id like to say. Then, the music stops, she introduces me, and off we go. I had a full fifteen minutes and it passed in a heartbeat. Im always nervous while Im sitting out in Reception. Then Kath, who operates the phone-in desk for the two studios, came out to fetch me. As I was walking through the news room I reminded myself take a deep breath, slow down, and not gabble. She paid me a great compliment by saying I was easy to talk to. So is she, and has invited me back in March for another catch up - and publication of The Wind at Morning. Im looking forward to it already.
