Yesterdays match was incredibly good for Germany and incredibly bad for Brazil. Well, it happens especially when its a team game and you stupidly amounts undeserving trust and values on a single striker or defender whatever it is. The whole world watched in disbelief the smooth coordination, fast pace and irresistible European Football skill netting goals after goals at ease. The Germans have moved up and down the ground with each of them absolutely aware of their own share of the job. Where on the other hand, Brazils excessive star-dependence has pathetically destroyed their performance. However, as a German supporter, whats irritating me all day long is, Brazilian defeat has completely overshadowed the magnificent and perhaps the most decisive victory of the time. A Brazilian face of agony, pangs and loss is all to have flashed across the front pages of all the newspapers. I am stunned to see there is not even a single article featuring the spectacular victory of Germany and they have almost overlooked the fact of Miroslav Klose breaking the record of Ronaldo, being the highest goal scorer (16 goals) in FIFA World Cup. Well, for Germany just a pat on the back is all you can ask for; had it been Brazil or Argentina, their effigies would be felicitated with thousands of garlands..!! Well right before the semi final, the media as well as people (Football fans) had been looking down upon so many new football talents and different football strategies and line-up patterns that these lesser-known or sometimes debutant countries have brought along. In their words its an eye-sore to see these insignificant teams playing WC quarter finals. But five-time World Champion Brazil had to literally grapple for existence against Chili. The sycophant supporters of Brazil should get rid of their air of superiority and close-fisted hierarchal outlook when it comes to football. The regional media should really come out of their partial attitude and be disinterested in penning down the most glorious fact of football. It makes me wonder how even these learned journalists have been utter sentimental fools, behaving as if affected in their manners in presenting news..!!! Because, their is no supernatural hand controlling destiny; its what you make with the sweat of your brow like the Germans did yesterday. There is no such God or magic..!! Its all power, performance and inter-personal skill that can bring you fame, glory and consistency, as has been proved...!!!
