Yet again Adam has proven what a strong and resilient boy he is. Surgery is over and they found three holes in his stomach that the surgeon was able to easily repair. He was able to examine Adams liver and bowel and they did not seem to be affected, which is a huge concern with Degos Syndrome. He will have a breathing tube in overnight just until he can get an MRI of his liver tomorrow (which looked enlarged in prior images) and a feeding tube in for about a week. Theyll keep him sedated/sleeping while the breathing tube is in so that he can be as comfortable as possible. We can finally breathe easier and get ready to face tomorrow with a little more hope and positivity. Thank you for all your prayers, and thank you God for hearing us.
