Yo yo yo! So today Nintendo released information on a much anticipated mega pokemon (not you, flygon. Maybe next announcement). While many believed he/she/it would be receiving a primal form, myself included, rayquaza was confirmed to have a MEGA evolution. It looks amazing in my opinion, not like some of the other megas *cough*slowbro*cough*. Mega rayquazas ability is a new one, called Delta Stream for us Americans. (His head kinda reminds me of a delta sign, but Im not very familiar with delta, so I could be mistaken). Delta stream summons a new, unique weather condition. This clears up active weather and eliminates the weaknesses of the flying type. The way I understand this, ice, electric, and rock type moves will only deal normal effectiveness, they cannot deal super effective damage. This will make megaquaza seemingly bulky. This ability acts similar to the abilities of the two already released primal forms in the way that it lasts until megaquaza is taken out. Rayquaza has also been confirmed to learn a new move called Dragons Ascent (or something like that). It has been described as the MOST POWERFUL FLYING-TYPE MOVE. I believe that, upon the release of ORAS, rayquaza will be a massive threat and, in the fashion of smogon, will need to banned to a tier even higher than uber because its more broken than that glass I may or may not have dropped during class in third grade.
