Yoga is great for new mothers! Rahma is pharmacist by profession and a mother of one beautiful daughter.Read her transformative Yoga experience here. Having not worked out for over 4 years and with the birth of my daughter I needed to start with something less intense but effective and obviously avoid injury, which I was really worried about, I had a backache throughout my pregnancy. So when I came across DHome Yoga it seemed like the right place to start. Yoga also offered the advantage of strength building and discipline for a more robust aerobics exercise, I later found out yoga can be just as upbeat as aerobics. The personalised attention for my personal need was also a plus. The beauty of Yoga is that you learn to understand and appreciate the diversity and uniqueness of your body. I cant straighten my legs for many of the positions YET... but Im encouraged, my trainer took a while to master some positions too so there is hope and It doesnt mean the workout is ineffective. I have only just started but I shake less, I feel stronger and more relaxed. The the breathing exercises make me more aware of myself and a calmer person. I believe it will help me handle stressful situations better Martha is wonderful, love her, loud and bubbly and full or expression, gives you psyche for the session, always ready to start with a big smile. I love that she shares her experiences It gives you more zeal. She was also encouraging and understanding. Her flexibility and punctuality were favourable for me having an exclusively breastfeeding baby
