Yoga is terrific for both relaxation and recovery. In fact, I typically do about an hour of it once a week, along with a few of my favorite poses after every training session. Depending on the style, though, yoga can be a little boring — and not the best workout. Perhaps there are some people out there who enjoy holding six poses for ten minutes each, but I’m not one of them. I much prefer the faster-paced varieties that keep me engaged, make me sweat, and help me build bodyweight strength.
