Show your mixing skills using a Pioneer DJ Controller 2. Length of video between Five (5) and Ten (10) minutes 3. Video your performance clearly showing yourself, your laptop and Pioneer DJ Controller. THE UKB1 CHALLENGE There are Two (2) rounds in this challenge – HEATS and the GRAND FINAL. The Challenge is from 15 November 2014 to 15 January 2015. Results of the Challenge will be posted on the 10 February 2015. HEATS There are Four (4) selections in the Heats and participation must take place from 15 November 2014 to 15 January 2015. Two (2) Participants with the highest scores will be selected from each Heats Selection to take part in the Grand Final. The Heats Selection timeline is as follows : ~ Heats Selection 1 – from 15 Nov 2014 - 30 Nov 2014, 12midnight (Singapore time) ~ Heats Selection 2 – from 1 Dec 2014 - 15 Dec 2014, 12mn (Singapore time) ~ Heats Selection 3 – from 16 Dec 2014 - 31 Dec 2014, 12mn (Singapore time) ~ Heats Selection 4 – from 01 Jan 2015 - 15 Jan 2015, 12mn (Singapore time) Participants who took part in the Heats Selection 1, 2 and 3 but who were not chosen to take part in the Grand Final are allowed to re-submit One (1) more video entry for the Challenge. A participant who re-submits a (new) video at any time during the Heats shall automatically become a “New Participant” and all votes for the previous video entry will be erased and not taken into account. GRAND FINAL A total of Ten (10) finalists will be selected to compete in the Grand Final with: Eight (8) finalists chosen from the Four (4) Heats Selection 1 to 4 and Two (2) “wildcard’ finalists to be randomly chosen from the balance top scorers from Heats Selections 1 to 4. These Ten (10) finalists are then required to submit new video in the same format from 25 January 2015 to 4 February 2015, 12 midnight (Singapore time) The Organiser reserves the right to extend or amend the duration of the Challenge with or without prior notification on our Facebook page. The public can commence voting from 26 January 2015 to 4 February 2015, 12mn All videos will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Organiser in accordance with the following criteria: (1) Technique (2) Creativity (3) Performance ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS The results of the Challenge will be posted on our Pioneer Electronics AsiaCentre official Facebook page – https//facebook/pioneerdjasiacentre on 10 February 2015. The Winners will be notified via email. The results and all matters relating to the Challenge will be decided on the sole discretion of the Organisers and are final and binding. No correspondence regarding the results will be entertained. Most LIKED Video Award There will be a Most Liked Video Award for each of the Heats Selections 1 to 4 and the Grand Final. Participants video which received the highest number of votes in each respective Heats Selections and in the Grand Final wins. Voting of videos is done through Pioneer Electronics AsiaCentre official Facebook page and is opened to anyone with a valid Facebook account who are citizens from Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam. Each person can only vote for each video once but is allowed to vote for many videos. VOTER RAFFLE DRAW All voters stand a chance to win prizes in the Voter Raffle Draw. Three (3) winners will be chosen from each respective Heats Selections and the Grand Final. Winners are randomly chosen. Every Winner (Participant/Voter) is required to provide proof of his/her identity (identity document with photo) when collecting prize. The proof of identity provided must match with the particulars provided by the Participant/Voter at the time of submission of the video entry or vote. The prizes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. The Organiser reserves the right to replace items with those of a similar value without prior notice. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the email notification. If contact is not made within 30 days, the prize will be forfeited and disposed of at the absolute discretion of the Organiser.
