“You Can Never Spend Enough Time Praying” Why do you pray? You may think it’s what God expects, believe God answers your prayers or, sometimes, because you just don’t know what else to do. But the real reason you pray is because it’s what you were created to do. What good does it do to pray? It certainly doesn’t prove how holy you are, earn brownie points with God or convince God to do what you think God ought to do. Prayer connects you with God. Enables you to share your heart with God. Opens you up to God’s grace, vision, forgiveness, healing and hope. Reorients you to what matters most in life. And enables you to see life more and more from God’s perspective. In other words, prayer changes you from the inside out moment-by-moment, day-by-day and year-by-year. How often should you pray? As often as you can. Because the fact of the matter is you can never spend enough time praying. #GodNMe
