You Pet Sense regulars may have noticed that we have had a few changes at the store the last few days. Our sweet girl Fanny was finally adopted on Saturday and is now getting to be the center of attention with her new mom & dad Jumper. Then our lovely Stella was also adopted a few days ago. She wasnt at Pet Sense long but had been at the shelter for over a year. She has the nicest mom now and we are so grateful to Katy for seeing the potential in Stella. Both these girls were dumped with their newborn kittens in the summer of 2013. It was during one of the days when the temperatures were over 100 degrees that they were found. We could say some very nasty things about people that feel it is okay to dump their pets like that knowing that they could die of thirst, starvation or be killed in a cruel way. So just a reminder if you have a dog or cat, it is up to YOU TO GET IT SPAYED OR NEUTERED. NO EXCUSES. If you cant feed them, them dont breed them!!! You should take care of your own or otherwise dont get a pet and expect someone else to take care of it or feel it is ok to dump on an organization that is already overcrowded. Back to the good times though. So happy for Fanny and Stella.
