You all know how it is; you do not have time, but you have to have time, so you make time....I have needed to continue Heidis training, getting her back to where she was when she left: well started single... but was gone for 3 years and in a situation where her owner was afraid of his shadow, so... She has done so well. She has been laid off for months I believe due to life in general. So today I told Dave to humor me and instead of driving George after all of our outside chores this afternoon I wanted to harness Babe and her filly, Heidi, as a team and ground drive them, the whole while thunder and lightening are close to the west. He looks at me and says, really? Now?! Yep. So very uncomfortable he follows me to the barn. We harness both horses and low and behold Heidi does great! She was unsure about being next to another horse, and Babe was Babe, ready to go, NOW, but she was made to walk and Heidi did not miss a beat. Unfortunately I had Dave on Heidis leadrope, but did bring the camera to the barn in hopes he would get a video, but after a few rounds by the barn then up around the shop and house we headed back to the barn as the thunderstorms were way too close with the lightening and claps of thunder, but when done Dave said, She did great I did not expect it. Of course being the dutiful wife I had to reply, I told you so. Love these moments.
