You all remember I asked the question How many people have been affected by Autism? The number of people was overwhelming. Some of my close friends had children with autism and I did not even know it. I dont know if they knew I had an autistic child. I accepted a position (volunteer) in a very exciting autism research project. It is long term and I was reluctant to take it because of time constraints but after seeing all the people similarly impacted, my conscience drove me forward. My role will be to Chair the fundraising portion of this incredible project. I suppose I can tell you all more after they settle on me. Perhaps some folks have to make the final decision.
