You are an Angel! Are not all Angels ministering Spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14 I was around seven years old when I became intrigued with the cross that hung over the mantel in my bedroom. I remember taking it down and taking it to my mom. I ask her to tell me the story of the man on the cross. And she told me His name was Jesus and that He died to redeem us of our sins and that we were brought with a prize, His precious blood. She gave me a Bible that day and told me to read it, that the words in red was the words that Jesus spoke. I will never forget her ministering to me that day; she was the angel that served in my inheritance of the salvation of Christ my Lord and redeemer. That day before she gave me that precious Bible, Jesus was just a intrigue, but when I started to spend time in His word, His Spirit started to live in me. I remember the first time I realize that Jesus was no longer on the cross. It was the day my fifth grade teacher humiliated me in math class by beating me with a gin belt, and telling me that I would never amount to anything, in front of my classmates, for not completing a division problem fast enough. I was so hurt and humiliated, that when I came home I dashed to my special hiding place on the hill behind our house. Thats when I heard Jesus call my name. I felt His warm embrace and the Holy Spirit reminded me of the words that I had read in my Bible that my mom had given me. The words I heard were, Lean not on your own understanding, but acknowledged Me in all your ways and I will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6 Every since that day I have carried this scripture in my heart and it has comforted me in every trial that Ive encountered. God allowed my mom to be the ministering Angel that started my walk with Jesus and I know that she is rejoicing to know that, I too am a ministering angel that God sends to those who will inherit His salvation. Salvation is free but because we are in a world that serve money, we dont see it until we encounter a situation that money can not buy; thats when we need Jesus, the Redeemer who paid it all for those who believes He lives and is no longer on the cross but Hes the embracing arms in all our trials. I thank my mother for being the ministering Angel that told me about the Savior. Can you remember the Angel who ministered to you? If not, then be careful how you entertain strangers, for you might be entertaining Angels. They are ascending and descending every day. Amen. Be a blessing today and walk in the counsel of The Lord .
