I am not against motivational speakers, a man once said we are able to go over the mountain and posses the land, their gods are nothing and the land is filled with milk and honey.. Thats a lot of motivation, motivated by Gods Spirit mehn! The only problem is, church has become a physical-rehab outfit with many evennts and happening, brandings af divers sort, such that if Donald Trump were to add some bible verses and said Amen regularly in his books, he will pass for a fine man of God in this generation. When i came, i preached nothing but Christ crucified, to greeks foolishness, but us who believe, the power of God! Coming from a very skilled Rapper, homie, my purpose is not to be a rapper! I can sing too, dance, write, i am getting maried, i will be dad, i am supposed to be crazy in bed wwith my wife, an advocate for peoples welfare, a good organizer, a superb Leader..... Which of these is my purpose? and if i am freaking good at allla-them, which is my true identity?! If you lived in 300bc, would you be a computer freak? there was no computers, so what would be your purpose? If the world wide web crashes today, what will be the purpose of internet muguls?! Those who were mad-typists of old are now over-useless, technology changed their purpose! Those who say accounting is their purpose now, robots will soon take work places what will be your purpose then? We pastors, when the new world shall come and heaven and earth becomes one, what will be our purpose, because all our banners and prosperity, healing messages will be nomore!
