You are not going to believe this - - Did you know that the harmful chemicals from personal care and cleaning products that go down the drain end up at wastewater plants designed to remove bacteria not harmful chemicals. Contaminated water is returned to the water supply and the TOXIC SLUDGE left behind is re-named biosolids and sold to local farmers as natural fertilizer ....and allowed by EPA to be used in parks, school playgrounds, and other private and public lands. According to a recent EPA survey, biosolids contain a wide range of mutagenic and neurotoxic chemicals, which are present at a million-fold higher concentrations compared with their levels in polluted air and water.
