You are not hidden in Christ from God, but hidden with Christ in God. In other words, Jesus is not the lead shield that protects you from the radiation of Yahwehs wrath, and though He does indeed save you, it is not God the Father from Whom you are saved. Salvation is not about the Father playing peekaboo with your sinful state, nor is it about Jesus offering you protection from His raging wrath-o-holic of a dad. Salvation is Father, Son and Spirit, in complete agreement with One Another, saving humanity from the error and consequences of their own choices. It does not involve any trickery or sleight of hand in which our sins are hidden beneath a layer of blood, nor does being in Christ look anything like Jacob dressing up like Esau in order to bamboozle his blind and ailing father. The Godhead does not need to be tricked into loving and accepting you. You and I simply need to be convinced that were accepted so that we can get on with the business of loving and walking like Jesus. You are not hidden in Christ from God, but hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3)
