You are the Lord my God Good morning, Lord Jesus. You have called me as Your own. You dwell within my heart, Lord Jesus. You have called me into Your arms and I gladly come. I am on Your mind, You have plans and dreams for me that come from Your heart. You have set the course of my life and I trust You. When I see Your perfection, when I see Your power I am struck down as a dead person. When Your perfection is exposed, it shows my imperfection, my weakness. It doesn’t make me want to run away, it makes me run toward You….I realize that You are our only hope. We can’t do enough, be enough, strive enough to complete ourselves. We have to have You, Lord Jesus. We all like sheep have gone astray. I have been asked many times, “what did you learn from the fast?” I learned many things, it was an awesome journey, and I am so grateful that God let me do this. The most important lesson I learned was how awesome and powerful Jesus was. I have read of the wonderful things He did, I have experienced in my heart His wonder working Power…..but after crucifying my own body for a short time…..I realize that we are truly flesh on this earth. We fall so short of God. Jesus was power, Jesus walked through death, hell and the grave and came out. He defied all flesh. He defied nature itself. When the earth shook, when the veil was torn and they said, “Surely this man must have been the Son of God”. They weren’t kidding, they had seen the whole earth groan. They had seen a man die, not just any man, but the Precious Son of God. The powerful, the One who spoke and there was, He commanded the seas to obey Him. He spoke and eyes were open, He spoke and the dead came back to life. How can we deny His power? This fast reminded me how little I am…..but more importantly how BIG He is. Not only that He is big….but He loves me. He, the Son of Almighty God, loves me. He is alive today. He didn’t die and go away…..He died and came again. He is with me; He has sent the Holy Spirit to walk beside me. No weapon formed against me will prosper. I can throw further, run faster, jump higher because He is with me. I will not fear the thousand against me, because I have 10 thousand with me. If this Jesus is for me, who, what, why can be against me. I am so grateful, Lord, more than words can even express. There aren’t enough words to tell You my whole heart. Today I am Face down before Your Presence and Power, Mary Ann
