You asked what I would give up for true love? Absolutely nothing!!! You ask why? Its simple, the truest love Ive ever known is and always will be my children... all of them, and I wouldnt give them up for anything in this entire universe! Youre gonna say thats not what I mean, Im talking about that head over heels, I cant live without you because you are my soulmate kind of love. In that case my answer is still absolutely nothing! Simple again, Love is patient right? Love is also kind, it trusts, it hopes, it protects... it never fails!! This love, this true love would never ask you to give up anything or anyone!! If you feel something is being given up, ask yourself is it this so called true love that is requesting this of me. In some cases youll say yes, but then it wasnt true love at all was it? In other cases youll see it was not per request of true love, but of those who cant accept your happiness, who cant accept that you have found that prefect one whose soul fits your soul like a glove fits your hand... many times youll find it is these people who ask you to choose. True love is beautiful and amazing and Ive been lucky enough to have beautiful children and a wonderful man... but at the end of my life, when I do finally leave this world I will be fulfilled, I willl be satisfied in all that Ive had... and it wont be because I had a true love... but because I had many! It will be because my children will outlive me and outshine me, it will be because my mark will be THEM! They are MY legacy, they are MY successes... they are and will forever be more than enough and with that I could never die unhappy, or unsatisfied, and I could never ever die alone because that TRUE LOVE of which I am speaking... it NEVER dies! I hope everyone is as lucky as I to learn that... I hope everyone realizes their blessings before its too late.
