You asked, you shall receive.... A new project! Unedited and subject to change. The thing about being famous is that you get lost between the person they want you to be and the person you are. Sometimes, even you dont recognize yourself. It happens so fast, and youre so unaware, until one day, you look up and realize you dont know who you are anymore. You dont know what you represent, what you like or dont like. The people around you tell you what you should be, what you should wear, what you should say. Until, finally, they break the last part of you that was holding the whole damn thing together. Until you realize, without a doubt, that the person you wanted to be wouldnt even like the person you are if they met on the street. They are strangers who coincide in the same world. Walking past one another on a daily basis but never stopping to speak, like two ships passing in the night. Two strangers who are destined to remain strangers. Because if they should meet, you wouldnt be able to deny it any longer. Youre a failure. A wannabe. A shell of a person who is loved by many but known by none. Youre living the dream. Youre famous. Every radio station in the country plays your songs. Every female from the age of twelve to eternity knows your name. They sing along with you, driving down the road, taking a shower, and running on the treadmill. They know the words to every song, but they dont know the meaning... so yeah. You made it. But what did it cost you? Was it worth it?
