You can believe in God, any god, all you want. You can believe the universe is only 6000 plus years old. You can believe that all of creation was brought about, fully formed, as it is today, in only 6 days, and that all of humanity was born of 2 white people in a mystical garden. I will never tell you that you dont have the right to believe any of that. Because the simple and unalterable truth is that it does not MATTER that you believe these things. The absolute facts of the universe are unfolding before our very eyes in this New Age of Enlightenment. The past few centuries have given rise to men and women who have aggressively drawn back the curtain of the universe and given us all irrefutable evidence of the absolute awesome power of Natures true architecture. Through the poetry of mathematics, the brilliance of physics and quantum mechanics, and the astonishing yet remarkably simple engine of the scientific principle, we have swam through billions of years of time and space and have slowly uncovered the only real and true knowledge that humanity has ever confronted in its existence. And it is not a cold and soulless knowledge to us. On the contrary. It is a knowledge of such magnificent and tremendous beauty that it shakes the very foundations of are seeking hearts. We will not argue the point with you though. An argument requires a degree of equal footing for both parties. And we know that our two divergent groups do not possess that luxury. We argue with logic and reason. You argue with superstition and ignorance. We argue with facts and evidence. You argue with faith and belief. We argue with minds filled with wonder. You argue with hearts filled with fear. We know the your philosophies face extinction. We do not worry the same for ours. So believe as you will that the entire, nearly infinite theater of reality was dreamt up by some petty invisible man in the sky that demands deification, and threatens an eternity of torture and pain should your fealty not be given freely. We know we will never convince you otherwise. We choose instead to believe that the universe is open and begging to be known. That we are all children of both the Atom and the Stars. And that we serve no Master save that of awareness and absolute understanding.
