You can protest the decision makers and the system. You can disagree with policy makers and politicians. You can demand justice for the actions of individuals. However, you should also remember where you were as a New Yorker during hurricane Sandy. A lot of middle class, hard working, thankless, nypd worked around the clock to keep order and respond to people in need. They werent with their families. There are hardworking police officers today that are good people that sacrifice and they deserve to be reminded we appreciate that. Buy one of them a cup of coffee or just thank them for working overtime. Whether you disagree with grand jury indictments or not, and even if you take a break from a picket line to do so.
