You can see right into my soul But through blinds And sunblock - TopicsExpress

You can see right into my soul But through blinds And sunblock that keeps me a ghost You can read all about it New toys to alter perception Delving deeper beneath the skin Only to relegate consciousness to the brain Or breath to just the body ... This too will wane And wax as it has And all my advice Forms a sort of shield As summer blooms As the rest of existence Bolts away with a kiss You can see right into my soul When you close your eyes You know these sounds Precarious in their singleness And then building a crescendo A body of bodies, Armor of the holy, ghost Turned to dust with a kiss. I can see your style enveloping mine I can see you growing in your story And I whisper through your hair into your ear Condolences, heartfelt vulnerabilities As the blood pumps between us Platonic love at its finest, yet still Roles are played And I can see you seeing into my soul And I rejoice and cling and withdraw a little Each time; Ill never be fully used to it. And I suppose this a good thing, As I wash this old blood off, This tired sore body soaked in sweat Clothes sticking to the skin ... I suppose youll have it your way And open your eyes And meld with the sky Each perpetual night With the stars alight Making a promise, never goodbye. I suppose youll outlive me, You seer of all Masked by nothing, sworn to hold Master of Nothing, growing young. These bits and pieces fall Off the cliff of my remains, and youre at bottom The only thing worth catching And gravity is cruel, so if I mistake you Just for someone whos watching Then forgive my audacity When I forget that you see through each thing Into the palms of a new truth, Waving, indelible, sunshine making you disappear Island captured and conquered Make way for my bride and our consummation O these four walls will sing Of adoration, we will light up the stage And take part in the mystery.
