You cannot teach ART, in my opinion, but you can teach techniques and school can help bring out peoples hidden talents. School is not right for every body....And I am one of those bodies. My drive to learn is fed with the constant urge to get better than myself on the previous day! Always room for improvement, and the networking your tits off part is so very true! This is for anyone who wants to succeed at their craft but may not have the funding or mindset for formal education. You can totally do it....It just takes a lot more energy and attention to detail! Worth it though, because the feeling of pulling yourself from the ground up and seeing how your work improves and changes is indescribably rewarding. School or no school....I personally feel like I am more proud of myself now than if I were getting a formal education. Im also not in any kind of debt! ;)
