You could soon pay more for your soda if a congresswoman from Connecticut gets her bill passed. Representative Rosa DeLauros measure, called the Sweet Act, would add about 15 cents to a 20-ounce soda. The money raised from this tax would fund efforts to reduce the costs of obesity, diabetes and dental problems related to sugar.
