You deserve my GRATITUDE! After appreciating God for granting me the life and my Postmortem appreciation to my patents that God used as my channel to this complex world, there are lots of people that deserved my appreciation principal most is my brother fondly known and called UNCLE MAYOR. This my brother deserved my appreciation in no small measures; i was born by aged man and woman around 70 and 50 years respectively, such parents obviously had just given birth for their children to take care of. Education to such a child is a mirage. My dear mother, the one and only woman i had missed so much quickly called on my brother to secure his promise on my education career when it was dawned on her that even Secondary education was endangered. She called me herself and informed me that she has discussed with my brother on my Educational career and that he has promised her. One day while i was going to school she sang her ringing tone to my hearing again - ,never forget the son of whom you are. And i left not knowing that will be my last time of seeing my KIND HEARTED MOTHER. Where i am actual going is that my mother while dying never forget to remain my brother of his promise and many more and so she died on his hands. Since then, i have loss regard for death On completion of my secondary school i rushed down to Lagos pretending to go for a short break. On getting there, i told my sister to register me at Owode Onirin why? Because, many of my friends there had been coming home with cars and buying ram for their parents. My teachers in school have their shoes bent and shirts sometimes tore. I did not see any encouragement in pursuing education from these people that supposed to be shining role models. She was about registering me when Mayor called let him go for lesson. Reluctantly i obliged. Then, he arranged for me to retake my papers. And handed me over to Chief Tola Alimi and there my education career commenced in earnest. I took me to OSCE thereafter to Ogun State Polytechnic. Yes, the man -. SPEARHEADED most of the cost with superb support from many other (mummy,) sisters particularly one of those sisters. Today, i felt honoured with the education he assisted me to have. Considering, the spate of youth literacy that is REVOLUTIONARY in Waterside of TODAY. Thank God and thank Mayor that i am not lacking behind. As human; we may have cause to agree and disagree but in all, i will always RESPECT him as a man of his PROMISE!
