You good readers seem to be quite enjoying our experiment in creative writing weve kicked off this year. :) So are we! Its not over yet, but in case you missed it, weve asked 10 different authors to write a story. Together. Where each author contributes to the story in progress. No other restrictions - just file 300 words that continues the story. It all takes its cue from the Exquisite Cadaver game played by Surrealist artists and poets in the 1930s (well, why not?!) Marguerite Johnson, a classicist at the University of Newcastle, gamely volunteered to start the experiment, followed by novelist Claire Corbett, creative writing lecturer Donna Hancox and digital cultures researcher Chris Rodley. Our literature columnist Michelle Smith came next, then theatre director Julian Meyrick and creative writing scholars Nike Sulway and Dallas Baker. Heres the story so far.
