You guys, I just found out that my third manuscript, The Regret Histories, won The National Poetry Series prize, along with some awesome folks like Simeon Berry and Sarah Vap. HarperCollins is putting it out next year at some point. Campbell McGrath picked it, which is kind of weird, as he picked my first book 10 years ago...but I promise I have never met/talked to/publicly or privately hugged the man. The book is dedicated to my friend Jake Adam York, who I would have asked to write a blurb for me if he was still around. I miss that guy.
