You guys do not get it! I have relatives on the ground in Ukraine and this has been going on for years now. There are gangs of factions who target blacks, Jews, and Russian speakers against Ukrainian groups, and against each other. People have been getting murdered on the streets for years. Most people in Ukraine do not get involved because of fear of being targeted by these groups. This is what Putin is calling on RT NEWS Neo-Nazi groups. At the same time Russia has a treaty agreement for the base in Crimea, and the Ukrainian nationals want to be allied with the EU and the west. So what is the solution when no one wants to kill their brothers and cousins, yet some small factions are even in Parliament saying they will rebuild the nukes to fight Russia: “We’ll regain our status as a nuclear power and that’ll change the conversation. Ukraine has all the technological means needed to create a nuclear arsenal – which would take us about three to six months,” Svoboda party MP Mikhail Golovko said..... So when you see this, and say it was Canada or Mexico, what would the US do? So the solution is to stabilize the rule of law at the federal level in Ukraine. If I was Obama and Putin, I would make an agreement with the EU that would 1. Give economic aid to Ukraine from the EU, US, and Russia in mutual agreements to help the country. 2. Make Ukraine a Neutral country with monitors from all sides to insure that violence and the rule of law is restored to protect the people. 3. Establish a mutual missile shield that would have operators on site from all countries including Russia to insure that no ones nukes could hit anyone on the ground. 4. Establish mutual forces agreements to insure that neutral status is not violated and that extremists are held responsible for their ethnic and religious attacks against people. 5.Allow treaty passage of forces from Russia to maintain their access to their bases in Crimea, and protect their ports to allow for trade, and military interests under existing treaty is protected. People do not want to go to war over these issues. The EU has got to be careful not to cooperate with groups and small factions of people who are not interested in human rights and freedom who attempt to use the west to gain power and get away with murder. Both sides are doing this in Ukraine. I am a former US Army Officer and have been on the ground in Ukraine and these factions have been fighting since the Iron Curtain fell. I can see how Russia is concerned with what the EU is attempting to do on their boarders without consideration of all factors going on in the actual streets of Ukraine. Further more you need to cover the RT NEWS feeds how they have been blaming the Conservatives the last few days and only now are changing the propaganda war to say the Neo-liberals are causing the problems. They got a big backlash on the net when their commentators did what equated to a blame bush propaganda war that said Conservatives in America had allied with Islamic terrorist and neo-nazi groups to start a hate Russia effort and overthrow the government in Ukraine. Only after many of us conservatives on the net sent them emails did they back down from those false claims today. #FoxNews #RTNews The people on the ground want PEACE and they have cell phones that post to the net when ever anyone attacks. I personally just want my family free to visit me in the USA and for me to come to Ukraine to visit them without fear of being killed just because I am a Jew, Evangelical, Orthodox Russian, or whatever.
