You had enough of relationships… You were pretty sure you had enough of men…You were so sick of the way you were being treated…. Then along came this guy. He was so romantic, sweet and for some reason he actually came across as completely different…. To be honest you gave him a hard time.. You were not going to make the same mistakes as last time.. This time you were going to make sure he was genuine, he was real and he wasnt going to hurt you. You decided to keep your walls up. This time you refused to be made a fool out of. But he was different. He said and did all the right things…He paid attention to every little thing you said and did. He remembered little details about you. He gave you compliments,he spoiled you, he made you feel good about yourself, no matter how difficult you made it for him, he always came through and kept trying… He made you laugh…. You hadnt smiled so much around a guy in such a long time. It was almost unreal. You had so much in common with him. You felt he earned your trust, he earned his position in your life. Your gut instincts said he was the one. So you started to return all the gestures and favors…You finally gave him privileges and spoilt him. You showed him how much of a good woman you were…. Because you felt he deserved it…Finally you found the man that was right for you. Then one day, he got distant, he didnt reply to your texts or calls like before… No more random calls, no more compliments, no more effort, he didnt seem to care anymore. He started to change.. You decided to bring it up and ask him what was wrong. How could he go from working so hard to get you, to acting like he doesnt even know you any more? He barely gave you an explanation, he just said Nothings wrong, Im just a little busy at the moment….. It made no sense to you because as far as you knew nothing in his circumstances had actually changed. He always managed to make time for you before.. even if he was busy. You decided to give him a little space so he could sort himself out…. But he never called or text…. You checked up on his social media… and it seemed like he was just living his life… without a single thought of you. Thats when you realized…You had been played…. again.
