You have no idea how proud of my Polish roots. I have spent quite a lot of time in the company of Poles and have always been struck by the similarities between us. If there is a nation on earth that has fighting for freedom, bread into them more than the Scots, its the Poles. For me the applause was as much a show of support for that than anything else. Dont believe any of the crap that it was the Poles living in Scotland voting no that was part of the reason we lost. I spoke to numerous Poles who were amazed at the possibility we would struggle to win our freedom. On a bloody vote!
