You have to hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, loose in order to gain. Because most lifes lessons are learned in pain. What I know..... Ive been restless, irritable and discontent I struggle with faith Im fighting to keep my seat Searching for understanding My disease seems to be working overtime My eyes are wide open My ears are listening Im not giving up Knowledge is power Willingness is key Surrender is inevitable as long as I just have faith This was our course: we realized that people who wronged us were perhaps spiritually sick. Though we did not like their symptoms and the way these disturbed us, they, like ourselves, were sick too. We asked god to help us show them the same tolerance, pity, and patience that we would cheerfully grant a sick friend. When a person offended we said to ourselves, this is a sick man. How can I be helpful to him? God save me from being angry. Thy will be done. I know that I say this prayer for others, and tonight I will also say it for myself. Tonight I know my disease is working on me, it wants me dead but the good thing is that I have people in my life that love me and help me to see the truth. The solution is all around me, I just need to do the work.
