You know, I always read thoroughly before I spread an ideology online. The massacres have been extremely tragic but this Charlie Hebdo massacre has only triggered retaliation, from what I believe, is a consequence. They ask, is your religion so weak that you are easily offended by an image?. But does it give you an opportunity to offend? Their satire has always been based on Islam and Christianity and they must be prepared for consequences. It only promotes upset thoughts knowing it was influenced by a Zionist point of view. Do take note, I do not support terrorism. Never have and never will. Innocence should never been crushed and violence should never be encouraged. If Christians started attacking C.H for their mockery of jesus christ, would the media use it as a selling point? I dont think so. Extremism comes from Individuals and not collective thinking. The quran is a holy book and it doesnt promote violence. Same as the bible. I studied about islam for 6 months and I can honestly say, a religion isnt formed to terrorise. If anyone slays a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew all people. - Quran 5:32 Blasphemy is taken very seriously in both Islam and Christianity and it was consequences that were introduced because of insensitivity. Satire is a thin line between a joke and mockery with intention to disrespect. It disgusted me more when the Israel minister used this massacre as an advantageous point to gather Jewish support to his country. War and violence is ugly. Innocence is abused and it hurts when people neutralise injustice. You should never justify a holocaust, a massacre or a radical movement. I am Roman Catholic and am not being biased against Zionism or Judaism. All I am asking is for people to not aggravate emotions but learn to respect all religions. No one is inferior and no one is superior. Once again, I reiterate, that it is individuals who shame and not a society. I felt like ranting but I hope I did make sense. If freedom of speech is to offend people and motivate negative emotions, then I do not want this freedom at all.
