You know, I am not a big fan of country music. I dont really listen to it, and I cant usually stand it. But there are some songs that it doesnt MATTER that theyre country songs - they are beautiful, in meaning, in melody, in sound, and in feeling. This is one of those. There are only a few, for me, that are that way.. Yes, this song is old. Maybe thats part of what makes it good, I dunno. Yes, it was overplayed to hell and back. Does that make it any less of a good song? Not to me. All that shows is that the world was moved by it.
