You know, I have been away from The Monster for over 3 years, happily divorced and have really moved along in my life, in large part due to this room (After Narcissistic Abuse) and all of the support I received while attempting to make sense of what happened to me and my life. This post popped up on my wall today, and I took the time to read almost all of it. I keep shaking my head in awe of HOW IDENTICAL my story is to -down to the affairs and the claims that both he and the affair made -VERBATIM to the authors!! I could have written this whole thing... A cookie cutter personality, this NPD is....Im blessed beyond measure to have escaped and healed as best as possible. My biggest hope is that MANY MANY MANY others will be able to make the same statement for themselves and to then be able to help others, too.
