You know I kinda/sorta wish Id used wordpress for my new website, but then I wouldnt have learned all the new stuff Ive been learning. I am handcoding everything and learning the new google apis etc etc etc. I did all the basic artwork too, not that Im much of an artist what but what the heck. Heres a couple of screenshots of geekygirls (from the draft folder since Im only able to work on it after my regular day job). Note the quote area is just javascript practice. Ill put that into a database once I have the complete first run of the site done. And the links are really just placeholders for now. I will not have this site live for at least 2-3 more weeks, given my day job is a lot of work, nowadays, and I will NOT give up my daily walks that take 90-100 minutes. I think when this site is done, I will get a couple of interns to make it more interactive. When I worked in advertising in NYC/SF I was a print media designer ...and titling for movies/tv shows... tight not touching tv spacing etc. I still critique the designs of credits for tv/movies. I would like to work for huluplus, because frankly the need my help, or better yet, netflix, they REALLY need my help. Oh well.)
