You know I need to set the record straight here for some. I do EVERYTHING in my power to save animals as do many of my great friends. Help others with placement, food, vets, etc.....There are several here in my home in various states from well and healthy to medical problems and thats what I chose to do in life. It doesnt just involve hey I got a dog and it needs a home. It involves, medical, dental, financial, patience, love, kindness, etc not a few hours a day but 24/7. It means you dont get vacations, lots company and long trips at a time or lots of sleep. It means torn up mail and pillows and shoes, etc cleaning, feeding. Nurturing, training, and most of all teaching them to love again. I have numerous breeds under one roof as do many rescuers who shouldnt live together according to society but they do. This is all done out of love not for praise. Sometimes I dont have time to eat properly, put on makeup and well most of the time dog hair is an accessory. So I get a little annoyed by people who think what me and so many of my friends do is stupid or easy because it isnt either one. Just my thoughts
