You know I read your articles and I so much appreciate your keeping us up to date! :) I was shocked to learn of all the negative changes occurring at the Casino and am disheartened that our TGB would allow this to continue. Your absolutely right about all the high paying jobs that were created and for what, to have these great minds come together and find ways to increase revenue? Well now we not only are paying huge salaries but our revenue continues to decrease. Its not about the economy; its about promotions, marketing, customer service, morale, and yes our Party Club Cards. If Mr. LeeH or TGB is reading this, here is a bit of profit advice: you know when you stopped everyone, including Tribal members from being able to cash their LCO payroll checks due to NSFs in the system? Well you no doubt took quite a bit of money away from the Tribe. You think you were punishing the customer? You punished yourselves because you lost all that money that people would spend while they were there after cashing their checks. This includes Grindstone because that is where a lot of people went and spent a few bucks. Think about it, if lets say 300 people, native/non-native employees cashed their check at one of the casinos weekly and played at least five dollars that would come out to $1,500 a week, monthly = $6,000 and annually that would be $72,000! We know that people spend more than $5.00 so you can imagine the loss! Abolish the No LCO payroll check cashing/NSF rule! Do the same for any other legit business p/r checks and increase revenue even more! Lastly, pull all the old marketing files and put those promotions back to where they were! Lose money on concerts...yeah right, did you check out the increase in sales in the bar, restaurant and lodge during those times? Save our Casino! Get rid of dead weight!
