You know.....I was disappointed when Herman decided to exit the #GOP primary in 2012 but understood & we havent heard a thing from any of those women or their lawyer since he voluntarily withdrew from the race either. However, I find it interesting & ironic that hed whip out the race card in lamenting the lack of potential black GOP nominees for the 2016 & being used as a black token. No one he has named whom he feels should have been on the roster (including himself) is a viable candidate. #AllenWest is a loudmouth, tactless extremist who couldnt even win the House race in Florida again (here come the voter fraud allegations, sigh). No one other than right wingers will vote for West, so he has zero chance of defeating Clinton or whomever the DP nominee ends up being. Ben Carson, whom I revere, could get some non right-wing votes I believe, but has zero political experience (here come the who needs experience strawmans), as so many on the right have said about Obama all along (which is true, he did nothing significant as a Senator) & I wrote about this for #Yahoo last year - you cannot denigrate Barack Obama for his lack of political experience yet rally behind #Carson who has less. If you do, then one can easily deduce that its not about experience at all - its about political tribalism. Mr. #Cain himself is not a viable candidate either - the scandal in 2012 did him in as far as running for POTUS is concerned much to the dismay of many. The GOP cannot push for Cain as a nominee & be taken seriously. Some would say pick Tim Scott & I like Scott but hes not ready for POTUS yet & just became a Senator. So perhaps its just that there are no viable black potentials this time around but that doesnt mean there wont be in the future. Its as if he wants a GOP version of affirmative action. No Mr Cain, this is not an issue of race, nor token blacks (HINT:You were on the roster in 2012(!!!!) & a front-runner until....well, we all know the rest), so the only thing you can criticize is perhaps the lack of QUALIFIED black Republicans, but thats another issue altogether: topekasnews/shocked-herman-cain-discovers-gop-using-token-black/
