You know... Iv been working at Freshco for 5 years. Iv learned a lot of great life lessons over these years here... And they always seem to come from unexpected places, like an elderly woman who taught me no matter how old you are you can still have the humor or a 20 year old with their head in the gutter, or even teens who show me how responsible this generation can be when they shop for their disabled or sick parents. But the most amazing thing Iv ever learned came from a 4 year old little boy who was shopping with his 8year old sister and their parents while I was doing returns. The parents where shopping for school snacks and the little girl turns to her parents and says nothing that had nuts or peanuts in it right? The mom turned to her and said no thats right. There are kids at your school who are alergic. The little boy then turns to his mom and says mommy do you know what allergic means? The mom turned to him and said no sweetheart what does it mean? With all the seriousness of a toddler teaching something to their parents and told her allergic means youll die. So there! Words of wisdom from the mouth of a 4 year old!
