You know as I hear this song (CORNER STONE - BY HILL SONG) and I was thinking what does it really mean when it says my hope is built on nothing less than JESUS BLOOD and RIGHTEOUSNESS.” You know I heard that and passively understood what he was saying about Jesus blood and I stop for a second and thought.... Jesus blood! That is some serious stuff right there! I cannot believe I am just passive about it because the blood he bled on Calvary cross was not only blood, but it was the payment, the perfect payment for my sins and the whole world’s sins! That is some serious stuff people! Everyone who knows me knows I have had my fair share of blood split from bike wrecks and getting hurt throughout the years and man I tell ya, it has been a lot lol but this man who never did anything wrong or even met me in person, knew me and love only me (COLTON POST) enough that he would die for me specifically just so I could spend and eternity with him in heaven.... He died for everyone but if it only one person he would have died a million times over just for you that blows my mind and it kills me to know how passive I have been about it. It just makes me feel ashamed but the lord did that for me and forgave me for the times I was and will be passive about god on that same day and people see a picture of a cross and think man it is so beautiful and what people do not think about is the cross is the symbol of death, it was then like the electric chair we have now. The electric chair is not so pretty but it is what the lord did on it that made the cross what we look at it as today. That is what is beautiful. Righteousness- when I hear about Jesus righteousness I think of his AWESOMENESS, his justice, his love and desire for us all to submit, love and live for him. It says that hear is romans 12:1-2, 1 I beseech (URGE) you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of god, that you PRESENT your bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable (minimum) service. 2 And DO NOT be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. He wants all of us to live for him it say’s in Romans 12:1-2 and he told us what we should be doing while we wait for him to return in Matthew 28:18-20 right before he ascended back to heaven, he said, “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore GO and make disciples of ALL nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you; and behold I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” That is awesome to me he said go out into the world, and all this stuff I have taught you take that, and for the first time ever Christ tells the disciples to go and teach other people around the world what they have learn. Jesus walked with them around, was there with them through the trials and the storms to prepare them to do this task that honestly I say they did a pretty good job of doing, and you know why they did a good job of doing it? It is 100% because of the end of verse 20 - “I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS” that’s Jesus talking there he is referring to the Holy Spirit as himself the holy spirit is spirit of god the father and Christ is god in the flesh, Christ and god are one, John 10:29-30, I can go all day with this but the after reading how much I have typed without realizing it, lol. I know the lords blood is way more than just some regular blood, even when I was living life how I wanted to live before I got saved and even the first year or so after I was saved I know he loved me and forgave me on that day with that payment I could never pay, my parents couldn’t pay it, the bank couldn’t pay it. That’s awesome to me, he loved me even when I was pushing him away, even when I was looking at him like a bum on the road, he still loved me and wanted me to love and serve him so much he gave everything just for me. He is so personal… that man
