You know besides his singing another thing I like about Gene Watson is that he has such a strong inner strength. I watched an interview he did with Ralph Emery, and he said he used to smoke 4 packs of cigarettes a day and he quit cold turkey. He also did the same with his drinking. I can tell you, that when I quit smoking, it was one of the hardest things Ive ever done. But I did it one day at a time, and as I got through each day, I thanked God for helping me make it. That was July 12,1994 when I asked my church for prayer. You make up your mind and with Gods help you can do anything.
