You know how in zombie (and vampire) films, people become infected when they are bitten and turn into the very things they are fighting with so much force and hatred a while ago? And then its their turn to get wasted? Well, criminals are created every day in an infected environment of corruption, apathy, neglect and extreme illiteracy. Even those with a good track record, when they find themselves in an environment which brings out the worst in them, can turn. I believe that very few are immune given the right conditions. A small test of integrity: How many keep an already clean place clean and refuse to litter and how many of those same people when in a dirty area with refuse spilling out into the roads, litter with no thought because at the back of their minds, the thought that " its already a dump anyway" is playing? Watch a film called "Dogville" to see how even the most upright and sanctimonious can turn into vicious exploitative abusers at a moments notice when they think they can get away with it and even rationalize the act later.
