You know, i think of a story some years back, when fronting was the in thing for BEE purposes. This fellow who was a gardener was added to a company by his white employees. the company was making millions, but this fellow was just given R 50 000 per month, whilst these guys would get far more. Now this fellow somehow got cleverer and complained about this, the story went viral and people were angry at how he is exploited etc, etc. To cut the long story short, this became a scandal and the man was somewhat of an anti fronting activist, the company contract was discontinued, and had to close down. After just few weeks of being the talk of the town, the fellow was back to his old life of poverty with no R50 000 anymore coming in. Well the white business people continued to be rich through other businesses and investments. #I never knew what to make of this story though, you judge.
