~You know journalism has gone to the dogs when one newspaper reports contexts of a rivals not-yet-aired story. Instead of NMG investigating what went wrong with last years presidential election; they are investigating investigations done by the Standard Group. Todays nations lead story is tonights Standards show. Dog media. How now? ~Then the Standard even does worse. A story by Kipchumba Some alleges that Zimbabwes President Robert Mugabe compared corruption in Zimbabwe to that of Kenya and Nigeria. Yes, Mugabe did compare the corruption in his country to Nigeria BUT NOT KENYA! The Kenya angle had been added - just to amuse - by a coleague of yours truly. Meaning KipSome just read Kenya Today- News & Analysis and picked what he then clothed as news...and kaboom! Yes, some lazy journalists just sit at Mombasa Road or Nation Centre and scourge online for news...and report, even, half-truths, therein. They do this a lot. Makes it easy to confuse em. Sad. So so. Even more interesting is that KipSome called state house spokespersons to ask why kenya did not react to Mugabes utterances. Thats because Mugabe did not refer to Kenya in his comments. Kenya couldnt react to what didnt happen! Fools carry themselves. Kenyan journalism. Dog media. Happy Easter.
