You know life is funny and you never know from day to day what it will bring, on wednesday i went for my yearly eye exam andi never miss it because im a diabetic and i have always been afraid of my sight because my mom was a diabetic and she went blind from it , and it has always scared me, anyway i went for a check up , hoping all was good as i always do at the end of the exam i say is all good do you see any signs of diabetes in my eyes and the doc has always told me no all looks good, well this time was not what i expected, he told me my left eye was not right , so we did extensive testing and to my surprise i had three bloodvessels busted and i didnt even relize it. well as all know i go in emergency mode, i thought it was a little blurred in my eye do to a cataract i have, but not this time, first thing i know im going to a specialist the next day talking surgery, they done a lot of testing and confirmed what the other doc said,he wanted to do lazer but the busted vessel is to close to my retina sso they do shots in the eye now- lois and i thought they would make another appt for it , but first thing i know im laying back in the chair and im being prepped , well i had my first shot , they go right in the eyeball,fun fun fun not a happy camper, this is a series of a long drawen out procedure first year 8 shots second year five shots third 3 shot s till down to one. so i got the first shot and i go back every 5 weeks till done. we aske what it we didnt do any thing and he said i would be blind in that eye in six months, so needless to say it was a real wake up call and as of today im on a diet and so is lois of nothing but diabetic food i got to keep my numbers down because this was caused from the diabetes, and im scared i sure dont want to be blind i have had enough medical problems in the past few years. so please keep me in your prayers it will be ok after this long drawen out ordeal, but it might only have to be this one shot , if it takes well that will be all , but if not i wii have to go threw the whole ordeal , god i pray it takes, ive had enough needles for a life time, sorry so long a story but i thought the power of prayer by everyone might help.
