You know people ask in regards to my political struggle Arent you afraid of being arrested, jailed, or killed? The truth is coming from my background, these were already real possibilities: Working-class Latino from the Bronx and Uptown Manhattan. Already being arrested (bout 4 times) before i was political, in fact this had been part of my politicization. Going through crappy $7.25/hr jobs and debating about flipping ounces instead of burgers. These were real implications in my life and the lives of my peers at that time (prior to entering college), before becoming a political subject. So becoming a revolutionary, didnt change this reality, it only gave a direction because death or incarceration were already on the table.
